As an Alchemist, "Do you take insurance?" is not the starting point to cultivate Vibrant Living

An Alchemist requires 3 Pillars of Choice

When you set your intention to be an Alchemist and align your life with Well-being Stewardship, you quickly recognize that starting a discussion or search with "do you take insurance?" puts the insurance company in control.  Your choices are limited to what the insurance company deems to be acceptable ( = covered).

That is a decision-making based on a system focused on disease and avoiding disease.  It's a familiar habit you will choose to release as an Alchemist.

A fresh decision-making process and decision-making tools are required to cultivate Vibrant Living.  These are your Alchemical guidance system.

Your Alchemical guidance system involves 3 Pillars of choice:

Every healthcare-related interaction you have is comprised of three key aspects:

  1. The nature of your being

  2. The nature of the medicine

  3. The nature of the experience

The 3 Pillars form the basis for your state of well-being, or lack of well-being.

With so much influence, it makes sense to use them as a decision-making guide to select your well-being partners and medicinary tools.

Each pillar is discussed in detail in Parts III, IV and V of the book.  Plus, book chapters provide dozens of tools to assess each Pillar making this process become second nature.

Identify how the 3 Pillars - especially knowing yourself - have influenced your previous choices

You likely already pay attention to some aspect of each of the 3 Pillars now.  Before you even begin to select potential well-being partners and assess The Nature of the Experience; or select from the range of Green Stewardship Zone medical sciences (The Nature of the Medicine), start with knowing yourself.

Really know yourself.  Check out numerous aspects of knowing yourself discussed in the book contents.  Begin this process by recognizing if you could be an orchid-natured person.  This recognition is valuable for every aspect of your life - relationships, work preferences, harmonious living spaces and everything that comes in through your senses.

What it would be like to make decisions to elevate your well-being based on the 3 Pillars.  What might you do differently?

Until the detail is ready for release, here's a sneak peak of an important aspect of The Nature of your Being to get you started.

How well do you know yourself?

Are you an orchid- natured, more highly sensitive person?

Or are you a dandelion-natured person and seem to have thicker energetic boundaries?

About 20 - 25% of the population are highly sensitive people (HSP or orchid-natured beings).

Some traits of orchid natured beings are they tend to be more intuitive, more sensitive to sounds, odors and chemicals, and are naturally systems thinkers.

Many highly sensitive, orchid-natured people will find it is very easy to shift to following the practices of Well-being Stewardship because they align with their intuition of what has not been working for them in the classic healthcare industry.

Highly sensitive people are often in touch with their inner Alchemist. They already have experience curating their life for what supports well-being and what detracts from it.

Like most things, there is a continuum between the two types of people.

During different eras of time, being highly sensitive has been both valued and seen as "less than."  The pendulum is now moving toward embracing the value we (including Valeria and Deb) bring to our communities and the world as a whole.

Why knowing your nature matters:

  1. Attempting to "treat" your nature with medicinary tools that are not aligned with your sensitive nature is often a recipe for disaster - making challenges worse or creating new imbalances. You avoid creating potential problems.

  2. Understanding and supporting your nature gets you onto the path of Vibrant Living more quickly and easily.

  3. Recognizing the distinction between a the traits of a highly sensitive person and symptoms of imbalances results in proper assessment of what A,B,Cs are perfect for you.
